Guitarist Toby Knapp checked in with Hardrock Haven to discuss his brand new studio release The Campaign; why he didn’t go the instrumental route but instead worked with singers like Dean Sternberg, Jeff Gruslin and others; how organized religion and philosophy impact his art as a musician; the meaning behind songs like “Lack of Inspiration;” his guitar heroes; and a whole lot more.

Knapp has been one of Metal’s greatest guitarists since the early ’90s, and he’s not slowing down now. If you like Jeff Waters, David T. Chastain or just shredheads in general, tune in now to get to know Toby Knapp, and pick up The Campaign immediately thereafter.
