Napalm Records recording artists Huntress have just embarked on this summer’s Rock Star Energy Drink Mayhem Festival and they are sure to cultivate a whole new crop of fans with their brand of banshee-led metal. The band will also be releasing their highly anticipated sophomore release Starbound Beast on July 2nd.
Huntress frontwoman Jill Janus spoke with Hardrock Haven’s own Steve Patrick about the new album, how she writes her lyrics while in a trance, the band’s barbeque contest with Amon Amarth, and how she sees Starbound Beast’s Lemmy Kilmister-penned lead single “I Wanna Fuck You to Death” as the ultimate love song:
