BOOTCAMP SERIES #6

PROJECT: ROENWOLFE

Neverwhere Dreamscape

USA

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION:

Listening to PROJECT: ROENWOLFE, it’s clear that the project was borne from two minds with no regard for musical genre restraints. Although its two members – Tony C. and Patrick ‘Hoyt’ Parris – live on separate sides of the US, the musicians’ shared vision is apparent in their unique blend of power metal and thrash.

The fruits of the duo’s labor are on full display on Neverwhere Dreamscape, PROJECT: ROENWOLFE’s stunning debut album. Whether it’s the dizzying guitar riffs and skyscraping vocals of “Split The Rings Of Saturn” or the marching rhythmic onslaught of “Proclamations For Devastation,” the album already has a classic feel to it, despite its young age. By the time the epic “Universal Mind” closes out the album, there’s zero doubt that PROJECT: ROENWOLFE are the genuine article.

BOOTCAMP SERIES #7

ERADIKATOR

Dystopia

UK

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION:

When it comes to reissuing classic UK thrash metal, Divebomb Records has already established itself as one of the world’s leading boutique labels. Our roster includes heavyweights such as Deathwish, Slammer, D.A.M. and Toranaga, but we’ve decided that it’s time to infuse some fresh blood into the mix.

Enter ERADIKATOR.

The British band’s debut album, Dystopia, definitely brings to mind the best elements of the golden era of thrash, but ERADIKATOR never find themselves simply re-hashing the past. Instead, the 4-piece combo combine their superb talents and treat the listener with a seemingly never-ending barrage of neck-snapping guitar riffs and vocals that are as authoritative as they are memorable, resulting in a fresh-sounding set of songs. In the end, Dystopia pulsates with old-school spirit but never sounds dated. We wish we could say that about many of their so-called “re-thrash” contemporaries.

COMRADES IN ARMS:

Xentrix, Metallica, Megadeth, Onslaught, Deathwish, Slammer, Toranaga and D.A.M.

ARSENAL:

Brand new bonus track (Thin Lizzy’s “Cold Sweat”) – limited edition CD – only 500 units pressed worldwide – band supplied photos – full color 12 page booklet with lyrics

BOOTCAMP SERIES #8

EVERTHRONE

Evil Tongues

USA

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION:

EVERTHRONE’s journey began back in 2005 while operating under a different moniker, releasing two highly acclaimed EPs by the end of 2009. It wasn’t until the metamorphosis that resulted in EVERTHRONE being born that the band was truly firing on all cylinders. On their Jamie King-produced debut album, Evil Tongues, the group take their progressive metal sound and underscore it with a synth-driven rhythmic thrust that was so prevalent during the golden age of darkwave in the ’80s.

The marriage of forward-thinking heavy metal arrangements and synth-pop might sound a bit risky, but not only does EVERTHRONE make the unlikely stylistic combination work, they also make it all feel seamless and natural, a testament to the group’s profound talents. In an age of fly-by-night, Internet hype-driven metal acts, EVERTHRONE march to the beat of their own drummer, giving hope to those who care more about songwriting mastery than the flavor of the week.

COMRADES IN ARMS:

Dream Theater, Amorphis, Tears For Fears, Fates Warning, Symphony X and Warlord

ARSENAL:

Produced by Jamie King (Between The Buried & Me) – limited edition CD – only 500 units pressed worldwide – new artwork – band supplied photos – full color 8 page booklet with lyrics – includes cover of Real Life’s smash hit “Send Me An Angel”

BOOTCAMP SERIES #9

ELECTRIC AGE

Electric Age

Brazil

DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION:

Initially starting out as a Deep Purple tribute band, Brazil’s ELECTRIC AGE has evolved into its own hard rock wrecking machine. The quartet’s chemistry is undeniable and their arena-worthy live show has already garnered the band accolades, winning several festivals in the São Paulo region along the way.

With ‘70s flavored guitar heroics from Luiz Felipe Cardim and a locked in rhythm section in drummer Nico “The Boss” and bassist Otavio Cintra, ELECTRIC AGE is rounded out by powerhouse frontman Junior Rodrigues, a singer who channels the power of Michael Kiske (Helloween, Place Vendome) and channels it with an earthy soulfulness that suits their tunes perfectly.

Joining forces with Divebomb Records for the label’s Bootcamp Series, ELECTRIC AGE is set to release their self-titled 6-song debut EP. Featuring arena-ready tracks like “Snake Eater” and “Echoes Of Insanity,” it’s clear ELECTRIC AGE will bust out of the Brazilian scene and become a worldwide concern in the coming year.

COMRADES IN ARMS:

Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Rainbow, UFO and Blue Öyster Cult

ARSENAL:

Limited Edition CD – only 500 units pressed worldwide – new artwork – band supplied photos – full color 12 page booklet with lyrics
