Marissa, a New York City-based music photographer, became attached to the camera in January 2013 when a friend’s Rock/Fusion band needed emergency photos for its set at a big venue.
Marissa is an avid concert-goer and a local Metal/Hard Rock scene supporter. Her zeal for Rock music began when she was 5 years old, as her young parents would blast Rush, Def Leppard and Motley, which filled the house every weekend. This newly preferred genre of music intensified in 1993, when she discovered MTV and fell in sonic love with Stone Temple Pilots.
In 2013, she has made herself known within the local music and concert photography scene. She continues on her journey to photograph the high energy she craves to capture at Rock performances.
