BITE WOUND Release New “Hallowed Grind” EP

Sparing countless metalheads from a meaningless, metal-less Halloween, grindpunk project Bite Wound is back with the third installment of the nauseatingly heavy Hallowed Grind EP series.

Hallowed Grind III: Season of the Wound boasts three all-new pools of Halloween-themed metal vomit, as well as a brutally brutal cover of Devo’s nightmare-inducing “Peek-A-Boo!”

Conceived by Ashen Horde mainman Trevor Portz, Bite Wound mixes grindcore, punk and death metal into a sounds that can only be described as “Bite Wound-esque.” It’s metal for metal’s sake, with no interest in catering to what’s “cool,” “popular,” or “worth listening to.”

If this year’s four tracks aren’t enough to raise your spirits, the previous Hallowed Grind entries are still readily available. The original Hallowed Grind features a true tale of love gone wrong, “Apla Aimorragei,” with lyrics penned by Hardrock Haven editor and Mudslingers author Derric Miller. Hallowed Grind II contains perhaps the most frightening entry in the series, a cover of Mandy Moore’s pop classic, “Candy.” The latter, alone, will guarantee any listener sleepless nights and screams of terror.

Don’t let your Halloween be ruined by a lack of Bite Wound music. Instead, make it awesome… with Bite Wound music.

Metal.
