Anthrax-live ca 2016

Metal standard bearers Anthrax are currently out on the road with Power Trip, Deafheaven, and Lamb of God. Columbus, Ohio fans were recently treated to an unfortunately all-too-rare Anthrax headlining gig on one of the off dates from the tour. The Columbus show also featured the live debut of “Breathing Lightning,” a new song from Anthrax’s upcoming album For All Kings.

Before their set, Anthrax bassist and on-stage lunatic Frank Bello took some time to chat with Hardrock Haven. Bello discussed his thoughts on For All Kings, why this is Joey Belladonna’s best record, how Jon Donais differs from Rob Caggiano, how he reacted to Lemmy’s death, the status of the Altitudes & Attitude record, and how he never understood Barney the dinosaur.
