January 2, 2018 at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, U.K. —

The Damned, a band that is recognized for its influence on the original Punk movement, now over four decades later are still packing in the crowds. Having just released a brilliant single ‘Standing On The Edge Of Tomorrow’ from the new album Evil Spirits set for release in April of 2018, the band is on tour with special guest Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom.

Reunited again with bass player Paul Gray The Damned brought tonight 40 years of classics to life on O2 Academy’s stage. The set was pieced together from several albums throughout its history, including the iconic 1976 bands first single ‘New Rose’ which guaranteed a damn good night.
