The Rods | Rattle the Cage

The Rods just pummel you. You’ll understand hearing Rattle the Cage the first time.

Such a weird mix of musicians. Bassist Villano is not always tied to music this heavy. But he slays.
“Wolves at the Door” is a highlight. It is snarling yet majestic. How? Who knows, it’s The Rods. Rules can eat it.

The title track is heavier than an induced coma. These guys have far too much fun recording music. If they are this happy making music, you’ll be happy hearing it.

“Play it Loud” also sears your ear. Bass-centric, it’s a bit different than the breakneck speed you are used to. Still, a mammoth highlight on a ripper of an album.

If you just want The Rods just pummel you. There’s an insane energy coming from this band. Nothing is more fun than listening to Rattle the Cage rock your fool head off. The Rods got ya.
