Black Crown Initiate is a metal band from Reading, Pennsylvania, who definitely held their own on the Metal Alliance Tour, opening for the likes of Behemoth, Goatwhore, and 1349. With the Hollywood date being completely and utterly sold out, Black Crown Initiate had the opportunity to play to a huge crowd- and spread their music around! The band was energized, pumped, and definitely metal, all characteristics that the audience was craving on that famed night. There was a wonderful mingle of melodic melody with harsh, rough vocals- a brilliant mixture of hard and soft. The mass absolutely rocked out to each and every song, moshing their delightful hearts away! Vocalist James Dorton truly brought his all to this performance, with edgy vocals that highlighted his skill. Rik Stelzpflug and Andy Thomas played with exceptional skill and precision, bassist Nick Shaw had a blast on his side of the stage while drummer Jesse Baehler looked stoked to play his instrument. <\/p>\n
