\"HRH<\/p>\n

The 2000s see the Hard Rock and Metal genres at a crossroads. While modern Metal continues to push to the extremes, a resurgent interest in the sounds of the ’70s and ’80s has produced new bands with an old swagger. Whether it\u2019s the pompous credo of Glam or Sleaze Metal or the rebirth of the NWOBHM, now titled NWOTHM, it’s without a doubt an interest in the classic sounds of Thrash, Speed and Power Metal that are at an all-time high. Even traditional Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll has its place, as fans continue to discover many of the originators from days long past. New bands have re-lit the torch to carry the music into the new millennium.<\/p>\n

Since the world didn’t come to an end, based upon the Mayan calendar in 2012, we can take a deep breath and maybe even a collective sigh of relief and revisit our Top 10 Hard Rock and Metal albums from 2000 to 2009 \u2026<\/p>\n
