Tonight was the second show of their North American tour to a packed venue. Tonight\u2019s show from WT had a humorous moment at the beginning for the show, after a short intro of a dragon movie then the piano player\u2019s intro though the rest of the band were not ready to come on to the stage.  And they re-started the beginning of the show and just kept going with total of 17 songs that included three encores. <\/p>\n<p>The first song from their new album <em>What About US<\/em> with the vocal track with Tarja. Other songs from the new album that have vocal tracks are: \u201cDangerous\u201d with Howard Jones and \u201cAn We Run\u201d with Xzibit on the video screen. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/hardrockhaven.net\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Amaranthe-011.jpg\" alt=\"Amaranthe 01\" width=\"300\" height=\"531\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-45324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hardrockhaven.net\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Amaranthe-011.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hardrockhaven.net\/online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Amaranthe-011-197x350.jpg 197w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>They wanted to perform  those songs as they are on the album. The other songs performed were &#8220;Lana Del Rey\u2019s,&#8221; \u201cSummetime Sadness,&#8221; \u201cFaster, \u201cLet Us Burn,\u201d \u201cIn The Middle Of The Night,\u201d \u201cOur Solemn Hour,\u201d \u201cWhat Have Done,\u201d \u201cMother Earth,\u201d an acoustic version of \u201cSinead\u201d and the last song of the night was \u201cIce Queen.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Opening the show is Amaranthe with their sound that mixes hard rock with electronic or techno dance arrangements.   They performed songs from their new album due out Oct. 21. Those were \u201cDrop Dead Cynical,\u201d \u201cDigital World,\u201d and \u201cMassive Addictive.\u201d Other songs performed included: \u201cAmaranthine,\u201d \u201cHunger,\u201d \u201cInvincible\u201d and \u201cAfterlife.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Overall, Within Temptation fans have been waiting many years for them to return to North America and they didn\u2019t disappoint and hope they keep coming back often with their quality music and to keep recording it. And Amaranthe held their own.
