More than 50 years into the band\u2019s career, The Stones are due to finally kick off their rescheduled tour of Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

The \u201c14 on Fire\u201d show originally was scheduled to arrive Down Under back in March, but the tour was postponed due the tragic death of frontman Mick Jagger\u2019s partner L\u2019Wren Scott. Now, the boys have arrived in Australia ahead of their nine-dates that start in Adelaide. <\/p>\n

Despite the longevity of their career and the raucous reputation that the band has garnered over the years, Jagger recently revealed the rather prosaic secrets that have helped him prolong his career and keep up his boundless on-stage energy. <\/p>\n

Speaking in a wide-ranging interview<\/u><\/a> published on news.com.au, the 71-year-old Jagger said this of his preparations for the tour: \u201cI really require lots of rehearsal, lots of sleep and lots of privacy.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

With a roll call of hits that are among the greatest Rock songs of all time, it hardly is surprising that, even in 2014, the flame still burns brightly for fans, making \u201c14 on Fire\u201d an appropriate name for the tour. With reports and photos surfacing every time a band member goes for a meal<\/u><\/a> or steps out in town, the flame still burns brightly for fans, which makes finding those moments of privacy that Jagger desires sometimes difficult. <\/p>\n

If privacy is difficult to come by, it is comforting to realize that despite being old-hands at the game, Jagger still insists on lots of rehearsal time prior to tours. The band arrived early in Australia at Jagger\u2019s call; no sightseeing, only rehearsing.<\/p>\n

You can still grab tickets for the tour<\/u><\/a>, which begins on Oct. 25 in Adelaide and includes a couple of dates in Perth, along with trips to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, before crossing to Auckland in New Zealand.<\/p>\n
