\"RageBack in late 2009 English DJ Don Morter put forth a challenge to Simon Cowel\u2019s X-Factor to push the current X-Factor winners #1 Christmas hit out of that spot on the U.K. singles chart. Nominating Rage Against the Machines\u2019s \u201cKilling In the Name,\u201d Morter setup a Facebook page and began a promotional push to the sale of the band\u2019s single originally released in 1992.<\/p>\n

Further support by came from Rage Against the Machine as the group donated the proceeds from the sale of the single to charity. Zack de la Rocha also stated that the band would perform a free concert in the U.K. after the \u201cKilling In the Name\u201d took over the #1 position on the U.K. singles chart.<\/p>\n

Live At Finsbury Park<\/em> is the 2015 simultaneous release of that concert experience on DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats by Eagle Rock Entertainment. The concert event was captured at London\u2019s Finbury Park June 6, 2010 and showcases Rage Against the Machine crashing through a set of notable hits which included – \u201cKilling In The Name,\u201d \u201cBulls On Parade,\u201d \u201cPeople Of The Sun,\u201d \u201cGuerrilla Radio,\u201d \u201cBullet In The Head,\u201d \u201cBombtrack,\u201d and \u201cSleep Now In The Fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rage Against the Machine led the charge performing in front of a massive crowd of screaming fans. Throughout the concert Rage front-man Zach de la Rocha’s unique vocal delivery careens over the top of Tom Morello\u2019s inventive and highly creative guitar style. The group\u2019s lyrical angst and social commentary speak volumes to those unhappy with the continued exploitation of the common man by corporate America and government.<\/p>\n

The concert was filmed in high definition and features 13 tracks, and also includes bonus footage behind the scenes of the concert and an interview with Jon & Tracy Morter. Both talk about the campaign to dethrone the X-Factor Christmas song from the U.K. single chart, as well as the response of from Rage Against the Machine and Simon Cowell.<\/p>\n
