April 18th, 2018 at O2 Institute Birmingham, U.K. —<\/h3>\n

\"\"The evening started with The Raven Age, a Melodic Metal band from London, taking the stage. Having been on tour with Anthrax and Iron Maiden, these guys have already achieved what many bands can only dream of and it is not only due to the fact that their guitar player is the son of Steve Harris. Classic roaring guitars with melodic vocals and Jay’s talent on drums, no surprise they have been declared by Metal Hammer as – “UK’s next brightest Metal hope.”<\/p>\n

Tremendously enthusiastic on stage with his commanding presence was Savage Messiah’s frontman, Dave Silver. The set pieced together from most of bands albums included pieces like “Hellblazer,” “Cross Of Babylon,” as well as “Out Of Time” a piece was co-written with 80’s rockers Tesla, leaving the epic “Iconocaust” and “Wing And A Prayer” for the encore.<\/p>\n

It was a great evening with great music, not that great of a crowd though! Dave was taken aback by the number of people in the room and ended up comparing the night to an awkward conversation on a bad date. One would think, the birthplace of heavy metal could do better, but sometimes it obviously can’t…<\/p>\n
