May 18-20, 2018 at the Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen in Gelsenkirchen, Germany —<\/h3>\n

RockHard Festival 2018 took place at the Amphitheater Gelsenkirchen in Germany between 18th and 20th May 2018 and featured in the three days more than 20 bands.<\/p>\n

The stage located in a lovely spot directly next to Rhein-Herne canal with a lot of cargo and some party boats drifting past. A very chilled out atmosphere, which meant no running around for between stages, a large area with the Heavy Metal market, food stalls and beer garden.<\/p>\n

Day one was featured the local band Attic, British Heavy Metal band Diamond Head, Swedish Heavy Metal four-piece Tiamat, mighty German Thrash metallers Sodom, another German band Dawn Of Disease and Dutch rockers Dool.<\/p>\n

On Saturday and Sunday crowds were gathering to see many exciting names like American heavy metallers Leatherwolf also nicknamed “Tripple Axe Attack” for pioneering the use of a 3-guitar line-up in Heavy Metal, Swedish Black Metal four-piece Marduk, American Thrash Metal powerhouse Overkill, the influential German guitarist Uli Jon Roth with his band, the very underrated Armored Saint and English heavy metallers Saxon just few to mention.<\/p>\n
