It will be held on 02.-04.05.2019 in Kopervik, at the island of Karm\u00f8y on the southwest coast of Norway. <\/p>\n<p>In previous years the festival has been headlined by Kreator, Helloween, Saxon, Enslaved, Amorphis among others. This year Finnish heavy metal band Wintersun will be Friday&#8217;s headliners and do a special Anniversary show to mark 15 years since their debut album&#8217;s release.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"WINTERSUN - Beyond The Dark Sun (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BM6CqGE8TWQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday headlining duty will go to no others than the legendary Symphonic Metal band, Norwegians Dimmu Borgir, which did release in May 2018 their latest album Eonian.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DIMMU BORGIR - Council Of Wolves And Snakes (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5ws18_MZ-lw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Karm\u00f8ygeddon Metal Festival will be opened on Thursday by a local Thrash metal band- Shakma from nearby Haugesund. First main festival day will be having some great names on the bill: amongst others Swedish Heavy Metal band Tribulation, German Attic and a rare live performance from Norwegian Melodic Black Metal band Galar. I will be very excited to see Cradle Of Filth returning to play this great festival. <\/p>\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s bill just can&#8217;t get any better: there will be one of the Faroese most successful Metal exports, Folk Metal quartet T\u00fdr, German Power metallers Orden Organ; band, that has put the small country of Andorra on the world map of Metal- Prog Metal band Persefone; Swedish Power\/Thrash outfit Morgana Lefay and many more.<\/p>\n<p>Polish Death Metal masters Decapitated will be embarking &#8220;Killing The European Cult&#8221; tour in early 2019 with Karm\u00f8ygeddon Metal Festival being part of it.
