A new year in HRH calendar for the third time was starting with an event under the Metal banner. Having most of Hard Rock Hell events sold out in 2018, the new HRH circle is on a great start with another sell-out. HRH Metal 2019 was taking place at O2 Academy Birmingham on the 16th and 17th February and featured in the 2 days in 3 arenas just over 40 bands presenting all biggest genres of metal.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s main act was Norwegian folk metallers Trollfest. Seven tattooed blokes dressed in king\/princess\/fairy outfits maneuvering across the stage filled with balloons, they were so much fun to watch and a real treat to photograph. <\/p>\n

Sunday’s headliners and one of the most anticipated bands of the weekend were Polish death metal giants Decapitated. The weekend finished on a brutal death metal note with fans going wild- hair was flying, crowd surfers moving to the front nonstop and moshpit did not close.<\/p>\n
