New York, January 14, 2022<\/strong> \u2013 Today, Eddie Vedder releases a new single entitled \u201cBrother the Cloud.\u201d It heralds the arrival of his highly anticipated new album, Earthling, available on February 11th via Seattle Surf\/Republic Records. The digital pre-order\/pre-save for Earthling just went live on all streaming platforms\u2014HERE<\/a> and physical pre-order (cd, vinyl & cassette HERE)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earthling, which was produced by Grammy Award\u00ae winning producer Andrew Watt, is Vedder\u2019s first album since 2011\u2019s Ukulele Songs and his first solo tour in over a decade.<\/p>\n

The track is the latest single off the new album and joins previously released tracks: \u201cLong Way,\u201d which Variety noted, the strident, guitar-driven \u201cLong Way\u201d finds Vedder narrating a tale of a man haunted by a lost love,\u201d and \u201cThe Haves\u201d which Stereogum described \u201ca searching heart ballad about personal connection, and it addresses the increasing divide between rich and poor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earthling illuminates every side of Vedder and includes collaborations with some of music\u2019s most iconic legends including Stevie Wonder, Ringo Starr, Elton John, as well as Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, and Josh Klinghoffer.<\/p>\n

In order to bring the album to life on stage, Eddie Vedder and bandmates the Earthlings will hit the road in a series of U.S. concert dates in February for The Earthlings Tour 2022. The shows kick off on February 3 in New York and wrap up on February 22 in Vedder\u2019s hometown of Seattle. Special guest Glen Hansard will open the shows. See full tour dates below.<\/p>\n

The Earthlings are drummer Chad Smith, keyboardist\/guitarist\/vocalist Josh Klinghoffer, bassist Chris Chaney, guitarist\/vocalist Glen Hansard, and guitarist Andrew Watt. The newly formed group gave their live debut at Vedder\u2019s own Ohana Festival this past September.<\/p>\n
