Female-led rock band UPON WINGS<\/strong> have shared the new single and music video for “Last Love”<\/strong>. The soaring, guitar-heavy anthem was mixed and mastered by Skidd Mills<\/strong>, best known for working with bands like Saving Abel <\/strong>and Pop Evil<\/strong>. Pepe Clarke Maga\u00f1a<\/strong> of California metal titans Kyng<\/strong> also performed drums on the track, while Kevin Jardine<\/strong> of Canada’s Uplift Productions, a longtime collaborator with Upon Wings, produced the track and performed guitars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“‘Last Love’ is about that feeling that you’ve missed out on your one chance for true love,”<\/em> explains vocalist Anne Autumn Erickson<\/strong>, a classically trained mezzo soprano. “In truth, I believe there is always a true love out there for you, but I think everyone has been in that situation where it seems like your chance for finding that love is gone – but it’s not!”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Last Love”<\/strong> offers a passionate dose of the metal-heavy sound Upon Wings<\/strong> was created from. It follows the pop-tinged “Scars,” which dropped in early 2022, and has racked up thousands of Spotify streams and YouTube views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
