If you are proficient in the use of Unix or Linux command line, then the Oracle Linux Certified Implementation Specialist certification could be your ticket to the next step in your IT career. Although this path is open to all candidates, it is intended for individuals who are members of the Oracle Partner Network and specialize in the implementation of Oracle Linux.

What will I learn in this program?
After going through this program, you will have a much stronger skill set with the applications of Unix and Linux. You will also increase your conceptual knowledge of Linux and the tools that make it so effective. Candidates will build on their existing knowledge of the Linux file system, basic Linux principles involving pipes, redirection, and other tools used for completing high-level tasks, managing jobs, Unix editor, and the skills needed for building shell scripts that automate operations.

Do I have to take a test?
Yes. To obtain this specialist certification, you will need to pass the 1Z0-402 Oracle Linux Fundamentals exam. To prepare for this exam, you should enroll in the Oracle Linux: Linux Fundamentals and/or Enterprise Linux: Linux Fundamentals courses. While attending training courses, you should also utilize the exam engine from Testslive, which accurately simulate the 1Z0-402 exam, allowing you to preview what will be expected of you on exam day.
