What started as the local one-day music event in 2004 in a small Norwegian town of Kopervik, has grown today into a reputable 3-day festival featuring loads of international bands of various genres of metal.
Just celebrated 15 years of its existence and still more than half a year to go until next edition, Karmøygeddon Metal Festival has already announced nearly a full line up for 2019. Festival’s 16th edition which will be held on 02.-04.05. in Kopervik, at the island of Karmøy on the southwest coast of Norway.
Finnish heavy metal band Wintersun will be Friday’s headliners and do a special 15th Anniversary show. Saturday’s headliners will be no other than the legendary symphonic metal band, Norwegians Dimmu Borgir, which did release in May this year their latest album Eonian.
