George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, The End Machine, KXM) continues his musical journey. Having reached his 70th birthday he shows no signs of slowing down. And for his next project, he has joined forces with Casandra Carson, to deliver the studio album Garden of Earthly Delights on Frontiers Music Srl. on October 25.

The Springfield, MO native, Casandra Carson, rock ‘n’ roll journey began when she joined forces with her father in 2013, writing music for a one-off event for a 4th of July celebration. From these humble beginnings the band Paralandra was born, continuing to write original music, the group released the album Street Magic in 2021 produced by Elvis Baskette.

The duo have dubbed the group Casandra’s Crossing, and are joined on the recordings by Alessandro Del Vecchio, who performs keyboards and bass, and drummer Jordan Cannata.

The guitars on Garden of Earthly Delights are pure Lynch. Featuring his trademark style that moves from heavy rhythmic patterns twisting and swirling through a majestic musical landscape for your listening pleasure. From heavy riffs, to clean tones, distorted arpeggiated passages, searing solos – it’s pure Lynch.

The voice of Casandra Carson is the perfect match for Lynch’s expressive style. She’s got plenty of grit and power, with that feminine sultriness. It’s the divine Garden of Eden, where Carson’s voice intertwines with the slithering melodies of Lynch’s serpentine fret-work. Her vocals are on par with her peers of mainstream Rock radio such as Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale.

Casandra’s Crossing has released three singles before the album drops – “Stranger,” “Impatient” and “Closer to Heaven.” These songs are the first three tracks that appear on Garden of Earthly Delights. They are a perfect indicator of what your ears and senses will be immersed in when you listen to the release in its entirety.

No ballads, no filler tracks.

Well, “Closer to Heaven” is the closest to a more radio friendly anthem. It is hard to say that it’s a ballad though.

In all, there are 11 new songs each providing an energetic vibe. The joining of Carson’s voice and Lynch’s guitar is heavenly. The duo have hit this one out of the park.
