UK’s Killer Queen featuring Patrick Myers hit the Stiefel Theater stage in Salina, KS Feb 29, 2024. They are one of the premier Queen tribute bands currently touring. Killer Queen formed back in 1993 and have been steadily building to sold out shows all over the world. Myers has been transforming himself into the iconic Freddie Mercury for over 30 years now and there seems to be no stopping him now!

Backed by Simon Small as Brian May (guitars), Brad Waissman as John Deacon (bass) and John Howells as Roger Taylor (drums), the band thrilled the sold-out Salina crowd with a highly energized 18 song set that kicked off with “One Vision” and encored with “We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions.”

As the first guitar chords ripped through the theater, there was no doubt that this wasn’t going to be a sit down and listen kind of show. At every opportunity, Myers coaxed the audience to their feet, raise their hands and sing out loud. It was nice to see fans of all ages singing the iconic songs of Queen.

Killer Queen is on tour until the end of March and then hits the UK and Europe in the middle of April. They will be back in the US at the end of June.
