Charlie Wayne of Platinum Rose

by Derric Miller
Staff Writer

Platinum Rose lead singer/guitarist Charlie Wayne (Bulletboys, Hawk, Keel & Wayne, etc.) checked in with Hardrock Haven to discuss the upcoming new album Cry of the Raven; how their music ended up in the movie “The Deadliest Gender;” some of the new tracks like the Beatles’ cover “Eleanor Rigby” and “Child of the Sun;” the band’s new management; upcoming tour plans; playing with Eddie Money; and a whole lot more.

Charlie Wayne is one of the “good guys” of Rock N Roll and he was also one of the founding fathers of that whole ’80s glam/hair metal movement. Tune in now to get to know his stellar new band Platinum Rose and be ready to pick up Cry of the Raven as soon as it hits the streets.
