Charred Walls of the Damned Charred Walls of the Damned

New project Charred Walls Of The Damned features such heavy metal super weights as Tim “Ripper” Owens, drummer Richard Christy, bassist Steve DiGiorgio, and guitarist Jason Suecof. Their self-titled debut album on Metal Blade Records is pure balls to the walls heavy thrash metal with underlying overtones of Dio and Judas Priest combined on speed control.
Opening track “Ghost Town” sets the tone for the entire album with The Ripper’s blistering vocals set in overdrive. Compelling, raw, and demonic, Tim “Ripper” Owens is re-energized and giving a performance of a lifetime. If you’ve had the experience of seeing him perform live with super group Hail, the debut album of Charred Walls Of The Damned holds the colossal intensity of that live performance.
Stand out tracks include” Blood On Wood” with its machine gun like riffs, and “Manifestations” shines with its Dio-like vocals. The drumming of Richard Christy is brutal and guitarist Jason Suecof is brilliant with his speed metal thrash riffs that are relentless and torrid.
Overall, Charred Walls Of The Damned is a stellar debut unleashing the wrath of these heavy metal super weights in a new light that is intense and raw.
