Today Def Leppard’s accomplishments, record sales and popularity seem as bright and vital as they were when Hysteria was released over 20 years ago. The new album, Songs From The Sparkle Lounge strikes a different tone and was written and recorded in a very different method than prior Def Lep albums.
Recently, Hardrock Haven was provided the opportunity to speak with Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell about the new album, the bands past and future and his role with what is one of the most popular bands of all time. They are currently on tour in the United States. The new album Songs From The Sparkle Lounge is now available and for Def Leppard fans, it's a must listen to record.

his tenure in Kiss, his solo projects and his new adventures in Grand Funk
Railroad.
SHADOWS FALL drummer Jason Bittner, former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, ex-JUDAS PRIEST/ICED EARTH and current Beyond Fear/Yngwie Malmsteen singer Tim "Ripper" Owens and DAITRIBE guitarist Tristan "1690" Grigsby have joined forces to record a song for the upcoming tribute album to late PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. Entitled "Leave It Alone", the track features solos by special guests Nick Bowcott (ex-GRIM REAPER) and fan Brian Cashmore. It was recorded and mixed in Chicago at Farview Recording by Jason Walsh, with additional tracks recorded at Saltmine studios in Phoenix, Arizona & Galahad Studios in Cleveland Ohio.
