Ohio-based Skeletonwitch are about to release their latest blackened thrash masterpiece entitled Serpents Unleashed on October 29th. Serpents Unleashed is the band’s fifth full-length record and the fourth for Prosthetic Records. The stunning cover artwork for the album was created by none other than John Baizley of Baroness who has also done cover art for bands like Kylesa, Kvelertak, Skeletonwitch’s first album for Prosthetic Beyond the Permafrost, and of course Baroness.
Skeletonwitch’s guitar dynamic duo of Nate “N8 Feet Under” Garnette and Scott “Scunt” Hedrick spoke with Hardrock Haven at the Columbus, OH tour stop supporting Ghost at the Newport Music Hall on October 7. Garnette and Hedrick discuss the making of Serpents Unleashed, their favorite horror movies, the possible re-release of the band’s first album At One with the Shadows, touring with the mysterious Ghost, and Nate’s love of cats:
