The German Gothic-Rock band Schöngeist is working on a new album and is inviting fans into its world of complicated but clear music, where a dark, Gothic atmosphere is interwoven with refined oriental textures and the expressiveness of Rock.
The band is a planning a tour in the fall and will play at several festivals. However, on Feb. 28, Russian fans will have a chance to meet lead singer Timur Karakus at a DJ-party in St.Petersburg. Much more news is to come, so stay tuned and keep rocking with Schöngeist.
Schöngeist was founded in 2006, and, in 2009, its debut album ‘Liebeskrieger’ was released. The follow-up album, ‘Keine Zeit,’ was more experimental, melodic and melancholic than its predecessor. The band’s third release ‘Wehe!’ brought a more matured sound, revealing new intricacies to its music and explored other facets of the band’s creativity.
