Guns N’ Roses Not In This Lifetime 2016 Tour.
Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, the three original members of Guns N’ Roses, put on a power-packed show at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. From the lights, visuals, sound and even appearance, Guns N’ Roses was firing on all eight cylinders, much to the surprise of those in attendance.
Rose’s voice was amazingly strong and powerful as he muscled through each and every song they played. And did they play, with precision. The band was solid and tight, as if no years or time had lapsed whatsoever. The energy level was right up there with any band that has something to prove. What Guns N’ Roses proved is that they are true pros in the music industry, and they are a force to be reckoned with.
Performing 26 songs live isn’t an easy task for any band to pull off, but for Guns N’ Roses, it just flowed. It was great to hear and see Slash and McKagan play on two songs from Chinese Democracy, the album’s title track and “Better.” Best of all, the chemistry between all bandmates was there. Rose has trimmed down and looks great. Slash and McKagan still look great and have incredible stage presence. All in all, the band blew the crowd away.
Other highlights of the evening were the performance of “Rocket Queen,” “Double Talkin Jive,” “Civil War” and “This I Love.” The set list, which eventually included each and every hit, had something for even the die-hard Guns N’ Roses fan, playing deep cuts from each of their albums, while adding in a few covers, “Raw Power” (Iggy and The Stooges), “Speak Softly” (Love Theme From Godfather), the ending of “Layla” (Derek And The Dominos with Rose on piano) and “The Seeker” (Who cover).

I’m glad the shows are going well, the genre needed a boost after losing Weiland,Lemmy/Motorhead,Motley Crue(touring)& more than likely AC-DC. You have to wonder what will become of this current GNR line up after the tours.
This has been the year of Axl. I think he has been great with Guns and with AC/DC.
Spot on review! Show was a blast!!
