Newly-minted solo artist and former Immortal frontman Abbath recently headlined this year’s Decibel Magazine tour. Abbath was out on this tour promoting his self-titled debut solo record released earlier this year on Season of Mist. Joining Abbath on the Decibel tour were Tribulation, Skeletonwitch and High on Fire.
It was unusual for early April, but it was appropriately snowing on the day Abbath paid Cleveland a visit. Right before he was set to take the stage, a jovial Abbath sat down for a revealing chat with Hardrock Haven.
Armed with a supply of PBRs, Abbath touched on the creation of his solo record, covering Judas Priest, the US Presidential race, his internet meme fame, decorating his corner of the tour bus, and his epic after show wings.
