The small one-day festival that started in 2013 has grown into a yearly two-day affair.
Hell Over Hammaburg 7th edition will be taking place on 1st and 2nd March 2019 at Markthalle Hamburg, Germany. The event will be hosting in the two days on two stages 18 bands- there will be something to please everyone’s taste, including fans of the darker and more extreme side of the Metal genre.
Friday’s headliners Mgła (Polish for “fog”) are one of the most well known Polish Black Metal bands and no newbie’s to Hell Over Hammaburg festival. The duo has not released any new material since their 2015 masterpiece “Exercises In Futility”, but have been busy working on new material for their less known side project Warmachine.
On Saturday the headlining duty will go to Californian heavy metallers Night Demon. In 2017 the trio was honored with Metal Hammer’s “Up& Coming” award and with two full-length releases out now, they are working currently on a new album. Hopefully, we will be able to hear some new material in Hamburg!
