Tommy Henriksen along side Tommy Denander have joined forces with legendary producer Mutt Lange to create the world of Crossbone Skully within the context of 13 studio tracks on Evil World Machine.

Crossbone Skully’s Evil World Machine is a concept album of dystopian visions. The concept follows Crossbone Skully, who is an avenging superhero from outer space, who returns to earth to save the world. As well as to reconnect with his lost deity love Piper, and Kyd, the son he never knew he had.

The album also features many guest contributors from Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp to Nikki Sixx and Phil Collens (Def Leppard).

With Lange at the helm as producer, the production on Evil World Machine, is worlds above the over-saturated musical landscape of bands and musicians who can release music with ease now a days, yet lack the technical wizardry and ear for arrangements. His resume features a who’s who of some music’s most iconic albums ever released.

Influences a plenty are contained within the audio tapestries laid out for your listening pleasure.

A bit Udo Dirkschneider, slightly Bon Scott, certainly inspired by his time working with Alice Cooper, Henriksen has a gritty vocal delivery. He developed Crossbone Skully’s voice with a vocal app that makes him sound like, in his own words, “…a disembodied Stephen Hawking,” which can be heard throughout the album.

Evil World Machine is a fun listen. Fist pumping anthemic tunes easily draws you into the fold. The music leaves plenty of room for the instruments and vocal arrangements to breath. Everything is laid out to compliment all aspects of the music.

For those music fans aspiring for the classic Hard Rock sounds of the past that offers integrity and heart Crossbones Skully’s Evil World Machine delivers.

Crossbone Skully has been immortalized in audio format as well as a featured comic.
