Typically a musical supergroup sounds better on paper then it does in practice. Killer Be Killed, the supergroup formed by The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy/ex-Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera in 2011, breaks that mold completely. Puciato and Cavalera recently fleshed out the band with the addition of Troy Sanders (Mastodon bassist and co-vocalist) and Dave Elitch (ex-The Mars Volta drummer).
Killer Be Killed just released their eponymous debut album on Nuclear Blast and so far the record is receiving rave reviews. Cavalera took some time to speak with Hardrock Haven about the formation of the group, whether or not Killer Be Killed will perform before fans in a live setting, and also the possible title for the forthcoming Cavalera Conspiracy album on Napalm Records.
