A night of EPIC music is the best way to describe this show. King 810 started the night, followed by Korn. And if you haven’t seen Korn live, you can’t say that you’ve ever even heard them. They blow away their recorded sound and put on a show that make new fans each and every time. Jonathan Davis is a fantastic frontman and he and the band are a well-oiled machine of rock. Their live sound is flawless and huge!
Korn released The Paradigm Shift in 2013 and is set to put out a new album in 2015.
Slipknot headlined the night and came equipped with theatrics, fire, stage presence and an energy that lit the arena on fire! The long awaited return of the band was met with a near full house and single seats that were selling in the hundreds of dollars. True Slipknot fans didn’t want to miss a second and they weren’t disappointed. They played for over an hour and included a three song encore. Corey Taylor’s powerful lyrics and command of the stage, combined with a band that is tight as a drum and backing musicians that add to the phenomenal stage presence just proves why Slipknot will continue on and keep their legacy alive!
Slipknot’s newest album, .5 The Gray Chapter, dropped in 2014 and is the first one without drummer, Joey Jordison and bassist, the late Paul Gray.
This tour continues in Europe starting in January 2015 and will run through the end of June. It’s been said numerous times, this is the concert of year! This is a show NOT to be missed!
