Philadelphia heavy psych rockers Ruby the Hatchet recently toured the U.S. in support of their third full-length album Planetary Space Child. The band features Jillian Taylor on vocals, Johnny Scarps on guitar, Owen Stewart on drums, Lake Muir on bass, and Sean Hur on keys.
Their tour kicked off in April at the Buzzbin in Canton, OH. on a very windy Friday the 13th. Before the gig, Hardrock Haven was lucky to interview the all five band members on camera to discuss the recording of their new album, the origin of the band’s name, and their favorite Blue Oyster Cult records.
